Kichisen is a ryotei (Kaiseki restaurant) located based Shimogamo shrine, a World Heritage Site.

How to make a reservation

Prease have the hotel or ryokan you are staying at contact us, and inform us of your desired date, number of people, time, which menu, your name, etc.

Lunch is served from 12:00 to 14:30 (last seating at 13:00)
Dinner is served from 17:00 to 22:00 (last seating is 19:30)

Menus

Lunch options: 8,000 yen, 10,000 yen, 12,000 yen.
The dinner menus of 14,000 yen, 17,000 yen, 20,000 yen, 22,000 yen, and 25,000 yen and up "omakase" chef's choice are also available.

Dinner options: 14,000 yen, 17:000 yen, 20,000 yen, 22,000 yen, and 25,000 yen and up "omakase" chef's choice.

Dishes and ingredients vary with the price.

Rooms

• Counter seating (Kai-no-ma) for 1 to 5 people.

  You can interact with the cooks and fellow guests, and we think it well-suited for groups of 1 or 2 people.

• Suisho-an 2 people

  

Private rooms offer privacy and a relaxed atmosphere.
Table seating is also available in private rooms.

About cancelation fee

In case of cancelation, please contact us by the day before. In this case there will be no cancelation fee. However, in case of cancelation on the day of the reservation, full payment will be required.
